What certificates do you need to work offshore IE oil rigs?

Not sure unless it's a food handlers cretificate.What certificates do you need to work offshore IE oil rigs?
there are quite few categories:


the well paid and the most demanding are:


1-engineering


2- mechanic :repair and maintain drill equipments.


3-Petrol and mine Science discipline


4=archaeologist and Sea Science.


another category but of course you need to hold certificate in that field such as Health and safety / hygiene Certificate


-wielders


chef cook


porters


- Cleaners


laundry assistant.


another category quite acceptable:


1-divers: certificate for diving


2- Machine operators


3- electrician


4- pilots for helicopters.

I don't know to be exact. I know basic sea survival is one. You could try Robert Gordon college in Aberdeen. I'm sure they do it there.
