It only makes sense to recover our own natural resources, the Chinese and Russians are currently pumping oil off our Alaskan border to the north, and to the south, just beyond our Florida border. The leftists in congress along with environmental wackos who steer their collective thinking are responsible for us not being more energy independent.Should the United States open federal lands and offshore areas to oil drilling? Why or why not?
Not yet... continue with the ';Use their's first'; policy we have been on since the early 70's that way it will be there for us later.

If it means cheap gas then they can drill a well right in my front yard.
