Oil companies do not use the lease that they have now. Most Americans have the mistaken belief offshore drilling will have immediate effect. Is the problem with the leases that the oil company owns that theres no oil? Is alot more easier oil offshore?
Because if we drill for oil off shore, that won't mean a thing. That oil won't go to us, it would go on the world market at the highest price.
